When outage calls come in, our first step is to check the PPL outage map and get technicians in the affected area to assess any damage to our cable or fiber network. This includes checking power supplies, amps, and replacing fuses. If needed technicians should notify a supervisor to determine if we need to bring in generators, construction crews, or additional manpower to restore service as quickly as possible. If an outage is expected to be prolonged, we will add a message to the phone system and website so customers know we%u2019re aware of the issue and working on it.TSRs/CSRs should keep track of the customers who contacted us so that once repairs are complete, we can follow up to make sure everything is fully resolved. By adapting these practices we ensure faster response times, better communication, and a smoother restoration process%u2014keeping both our team and our customers informed and satisfied.Employee NewsletterFirst Quarter 2025 %u2022 Volume 1What%u2019s in this Issue?%u2022 Weather Outages%u2022 Walking Program%u2022 System News%u2022 Fiber Splicing%u2022 Retirements%u2022 New HiresHow To ContributeTo Connections? This is your newsletter and we welcome your contributions.
