My favorite memory was in December 2014, I was just hired and was invited to the annual Christmas Party. I was not starting my employment until the Monday after the party. That kind gesture showed me what a great company I was joining and that they had a wonderful kind management team.-VioletOne year we decorated our cubicles for Christmas. My corner decided to have a gingerbread village. We had a lot of fun and laughs trying to cut out “houses” from cardboard.-CyndiI will never forget the countless hours spent during the conversion of the Mahanoy City system and the effort put in by the whole team. Working through that whole situation. LOL dark times indeed.-RalphLast Funfest driving a van in the parade with my son waving out the window.-ScottMy favorite memory is pre-covid office. The office was always full of life. Sharing laughs and days with my co-workers. Especially when lighter calls come in we can all share a joke. -AmandaTo the guys before me that have retired and taught me everything I know whether work related or in my personal life made me a better person. I owe my fellow brothers and SECV all that I have accomplished.-Howard When we worked in the office and decorated our cubicles for Christmas.-BarbEvery time the customer leaves the call being more informed and happy with their interaction with Service Electric. My favorite time is on a Saturday in the office because it’s quiet and the day seems to go by quicker.-AllisonWhen I face planted across the floor and the customer saying where did she go and Ronnie holding up a sign with the #10.-JoanieIt was almost 10 pm when I returned a call to an elderly lady that was on the overnight sheet. I told her that I was sorry and that we try to get through the calls as quick as possible. Her remote died and it was out of sync. She did not want to go through the troubleshooting and insisted that a tech go out. I told her that we can work through it our best and see if we can get it up and going. It took 2 min and it was working! She said that she was so proud and so glad that I was able to help her and that no tech was needed. She was very nice and said every nice thing that she could think of for herself. -JillianMy most impactful memory at SECV is the morning when I came to work not realizing I had a stroke earlier in the morning. Kenny Cunningham immediately recognized that I was having trouble speaking and walking. Thanks Kenny for being alert and knowledgeable. That time I got free Mission BBQ. DeliciousMy favorite memory is when I brought my son Brayden to trick or treat at Service Electric.-JoshuaCONNECTIONS Q4 2023 13
